You have a second chance to apply to have the Waco Community Development Corporation cover the costs to repair your roof, according to KXXV. The service is free for low-income families, who otherwise might not be able to afford the repairs. During the first phase, the Corporation's crews fixed 22 roofs. They will do about 10 more during this second phase. Executive Director Mike Stone told KXXV, "You know a lot of these houses have roof leaks and if they don't get them fixed in a couple of years, it's going to rot the inside of their house and it will get condemned and torn down. So it's very important that we're able to save the houses."

You can apply online or in-person at 1624 Colcord Avenue in Waco. The deadline to get your application in is April 6. You can call (254) 235-7358 ext 206 for more information.
