Killeen Man Shoots Robber In Home Invasion
Be careful who you mess with! A Killeen man shot a would-be robber!
According to the Killeen Police Department, officers were called to the scene of a home invasion on Mary Jane Street. According to a press release by Ofelia Miramontez in the
Public Affairs department for KPD, a resident said he heard glass breaking and loud banging. Four suspects were trying to break into the home.
As the suspects were trying to get inside the house, the resident fired several shots towards the door. The suspects ran away from the house, but one was injured by a gunshot. KPD says the suspect is in the hospital, listed in critical but stable condition. The other three suspects are in the Killeen City Jail awaiting charges.
