THe report, issued by the Perryman Group, states that the Waco economy could potentially double in size by 2040, according to KXXV. The study also estimates Waco's population to almost double, increasing by 44.6 percent or 59,000 people!

For every dollar the city has invested in infrastructure, it results in $3.13 in local spending. The money is projected to increase from an tourism, new business and new residents.
