The officer tasering the handcuffed man is a supervisor, whose actions were even questioned by his own officers! The video was reviewed by the Texas Rangers, Professional Standards and the Dallas County DA’s Public Integrity Unit. After the review, the sergeant was reprimanded and told to have "no contact with the public" until he completes classes on conflict resolution, anti-bias and how to respond to mental health calls.
