This weekend, thousands of movie, tv, and comic buffs from around the US flocked to San Diego, where they were rewarded with the latest revelations about their favorite super-characters' big screen fate. Many exciting announcements were made, but none piqued my interest as much as Zack Snyder's plans for his next super hero project.

Batman fans around the world were thrilled to discover that Superman's new co-star in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel will be none other than the Dark Knight himself! At this point, it's unclear if Christopher Nolan, the mastermind behind the recent Dark Knight trilogy, will be involved. However, it's almost certain that a different actor will be cast to wear the famous black cape. This is my only disappointment with the new film, seeing as Christian Bale is my FAV, but other than that, it sounds pretty exciting!
