KCENTV.com reports the Temple Police are confirming a second vehicle has been hit by a rock as they drove through the city on I-35.

CentexProud.com says that Temple Police received a call from a motorist at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday to report being hit by a rock that was said to have been thrown from an overpass. Thankfully, no one was injured this time. The caller told police a rock was thrown from an overpass near Exit 302 and Nugent Avenue. The Volkswagen was traveling on South General Bruce according to Temple PD spokesperson Ellen Morton.

Talk all over Temple today included mention of the incident Saturday that resulted in the death of Keila Ruby Flores. A rock was believed to have been thrown from a railroad overpass in Temple just before 9 p.m. Saturday evening. That rock shattered the windshield of the vehicle and injured Flores who later died at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.

Please be safe when traveling through Temple. This is the second rock that is alleged to have been thrown in a matter of days. Both reports from the area between Exit 302 to Exit 305. If someone is throwing rocks they may be in this area.

The Temple Daily Telegram mentions Chris Christoff as another Police spokesperson to confirm the case. They also report the Nugent Avenue overpass as the exact spot where the latest rock was thrown.
