Tragically earlier this week news surfaced about a 2 year old who accidentally shot and killed himself in Waco. After the devastating news Temple Police felt compelled to remind those in the CTX that they offer FREE gun locks for gun owners.

If you own a gun stop by the police department located at 209 E. Avenue A. The free gun locks are available in the front lobby. The lobby is open 24/7.

TPD made a partnership with Project Childsafe, which is a program designed to promote firearms safety.
