Temple Public Library to Host Adult Computer Classes
The Temple Public Library will host a series of free classes to help citizens master basic computer, email, and Microsoft Word skills.
The first class is scheduled for Saturday, February 23 from 1 PM to 2 PM. The lesson will help patrons explore the basic operations of a computer.
The second class, scheduled for Saturday, March 9 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, will cover the various email programs available on the internet. Instructors will even help patrons set up an email address and get started.
The third class will be scheduled in late March or early April and will focus on Microsoft Word basics. Patrons will learn how to create documents and personalize them with Word features. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who needs to learn or brush up on Word basics, perhaps for a résumé or other important document.
All three classes will meet in the computer lab on the library's 3rd floor. The library is located at 100 W Adams Avenue in Downtown Temple.
Class sizes are limited, so you'll want to sign up early. To reserve your spot, visit the reference desk on the second floor of the library or call (254) 298-5702.
