It really looked like the future of the company was going globally just a short while ago, but now it is anybody's guess how the fate of TGI Fridays will play out after their European partner decided to change course with their affiliation with the Dallas based chain. Hostmore Plc is a hospitality group that owns and operates the British holdings for TGI Fridays, and there was a move for them to purchase all of the American stores.

Well, now we have learned that Hostmore does not have the money to buy up the chain owned TGI Fridays stores. At this point, everything that the company owns pretty much seems to be for sale because the company does not want to control the day to day operations of about 247 stateside restaurants, and Hostmore is attempting to sell off the 63 restaurants that they own.
If you ever wanted to own a Fridays, now is probably the greatest chance you will ever have to get a rock bottom price. You never know, your venture may be the first to turn around the trend of 2024 being the year of closings.
