According to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch their has been a increase in gas prices within the last few days. With the state wide gas price set at $2.40 a gallon Central Texas average price for a gallon of regular gas is $2.40, which is 10 cents more then last week.

Texas is among the top 10 least expensive states for gasoline in the nation, but prices have been on the rise and expect to reach $2.68 for a gallon of regular gas in the upcoming days.

If I were you I would fill up for the week and make sure my gas tank doesn't go below half.
