Houston, Texas authorities sprang into action around 2 AM this morning as gunshots rang out through the Cloverleaf area, and an 11 year old child was shot twice, and his house was invaded by an unidentified man and woman that are still on the loose. Houston Police are desperate to gain any useful information they can in this near fatal shooting of a young male.

According to this KHOU article, after the assailants shot up the front of the house, they moved to the back and continued to open fire on the family living inside before breaking into the home and then fleeing with little trace.

Texas Child Now Recovering After Shot Twice In Home Invasion

At the most recent update, the grandmother of the 11 year old, multiple gunshot victim has stated that the child is expected to make a full recovery. At the time of the attack, the only people occupying the home were the boy's mother, two additional children, and their grandmother.
