Texas Deputy Place On Paid Leave After Repeatedly Punching Teen [Video]

A Lampasas County Sheriff's deputy, Logan Jones, was recorded punching a teen Wednesday night during an arrest. It's not clear which teen was being punched in the face, but 18-year-old Quinton Cruce and 18-year-old Gage Blackwell were both arrested during the traffic stop. Deputy Jones has been placed on paid administrative leave while the Sheriff's Office investigates.

Cruce was arrested for interfering with public duties, resisting arrest, assault of a public servant, and driving while intoxicated, according to KXXV. Blackwell was arrested for assault of a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering with public duties and minor consumption of alcohol. A 17-year- old female, who filmed the video, was not arrested.
